Have you ever made whipped cream before? It is so easy! For this recipe you need:
Heavy Whipping Cream
Crushed Conversation Hearts
See exactly how I crunch up my conversation hearts by viewing THIS RECIPE.
The simple recipe for whipped cream is:
Add about 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream to a cold mixing bowl and mix it starting on a low speed then gradually working up to the max speed. You’ll see the whipping cream begin to thicken up. Then, add in 1 additional cup of heavy whipping cream and, again, whip it slowly until you get to maximum speed. Just before your whipped cream has reached the consistency of perfection (which can slightly vary based on your opinion of what perfect whipped cream looks like), add in 1/2 cup of crushed up conversation hearts. The conversation hearts will quickly thicken the whipped cream so you won’t need to mix it much longer. Feel free to add more or less crushed conversation hearts based on your liking:)
Sprinkle some additional crushed conversation hearts on top and use the whipped cream with any Valentine’s Day dessert recipe you desire! People will be so impressed with you (especially kiddos!). The whipped cream is fluffy and extremely soft, but it also holds a little bit of shape so it is fun to work with. It tastes just like the whipped cream you find on drinks and desserts but has an extra hint of conversation heart flavor.
How cool is that?! I have a plan for this batch of Conversation Heart Whipped Cream that I can’t wait to show you! Stay tuned…
